Clinical psychology is practiced across diverse fields and guided by various theoretical frameworks. However, there is a core set of knowledge, concepts, and professional attitudes common to all clinical work. This course aims to help students acquire these fundamental elements and ethical standards, with a particular focus on bridging the gap between theory and practice.
This course provides an overview of various clinical settings and theoretical orientations. We will examine the essential knowledge, professional attitudes, and ethics required at each stage of the psychotherapeutic process, from initiation to termination. The classes will include discussions based on assigned readings and small-group workshops.
Key topics include:
Psychological assessment
Core concepts and common factors in psychotherapy
The therapeutic process and key considerations at each stage
Non-verbal approaches
Interventions involving families and the client’s environment
Crisis intervention
Multi-disciplinary collaboration and consultation

心理臨床活動は多くの領域で行われ、拠って立つ理論や学派も多様であるものの、心理臨床の実践に関わる、広く共通する基本的な知識、考え方、姿勢がある。臨床心理学特論2では、そうした基本的な知識、考え方、姿勢、倫理について、理論を実践につなげる視点に留意しつつ学習し、身につけることを目指す。

心理臨床の様々な領域と理論を概観し、心理療法の開始から終結までの経過に沿って、各時期に必要となる基本的な知識、考え方、姿勢、倫理を広く考察する。資料を読んでのディスカッションや小グループでのワークを交えて、各回のテーマについて検討する。主に取り上げる内容は、心理アセスメント、心理療法の実際と共通する考え方、心理療法の経過と各時期での留意点、非言語によるアプローチ、クライエントを取り巻く家族や環境面への対応、危機対応、多職種連携とコンサルテーションである。
