As society has become more complex in recent years, the problems faced by clients have diversified and become more complex as well. Also, as government policy seeks to promote comprehensive, regional care systems and inter-professional cooperation, a deep understanding of approaches to integrating people into their environments will be necessary for those undertaking the task of psychological support. Furthermore, as certified public psychologists and certified clinical psychologists contribute to the promotion of community mental health and wellbeing, their value to society is likely to increase. In this class, students will learn about approaches that are rooted in the philosophy and ideas of community psychology, and they will deepen their understanding of methods applicable in a variety of fields including welfare, education, industry, and medicine. The goal is for students to become competent in all of the above.
This class will examine ① the theory and methods of psychological support focused on human relationships within groups such as families, and ② the theory and methods of psychological support applicable to regional communities and groups/organizations. Moreover, students will learn about ③ the various interventions and inter-professional cooperation that employ psychological counseling, advice, guidance, etc. to ① and ② above. Students’ understanding of Community Psychology-type approaches will be enriched through presentations, discussion, and seminars regarding practical know-how and activities.

昨今、社会の複雑化を背景に、クライエントが抱える問題も多様化、複雑化している。また、国の施策も地域包括ケアシステムや多職種連携・協働の推進に向かう中で、人と環境との適合を図るためのアプローチについて理解を深めておくことは、支援にあたる者にとって必須と言えるだろう。これに加え、コミュニティのメンタルヘルスやウェルビーイングの増進に寄与することで、公認心理師や臨床心理士の社会的意義もより高まっていくと思われる。本講義では、コミュニティ心理学の理念や発想に基づくアプローチを学び、福祉・教育・産業・医療など様々な領域での運用方法について理解を深め、上記の力を身につけることを目的とする。

①家族関係等集団の関係性に焦点をあてた心理支援の理論と方法及び②地域社会や集団・組織に働きかける心理学的援助に関する理論と方法について取り上げる。さらに③心理に関する相談、助言、指導等への上記①及び②の応用として、さまざまな介入や多職種協働について学ぶ。活動・実践についての発表・ディスカッション、演習を通してコミュニティ心理学的なアプローチについて理解を深める。
This class will examine ① the theory and methods of psychological support focused on human relationships within groups such as families, and ② the theory and methods of psychological support applicable to regional communities and groups/organizations.
