The aim of this workshop is to have each student create, complete, and screen a moving-image work for the understanding of its production process. Workshop Video and Cinema 1 will focus on some pre-production methodologies.
Each student will receive relevant reference materials on literature and moving-image works to carry out their research in accordance with the moving-image works they wish to create, be it a fictional film, documentary, or collaboration with art and music.
Particularly focusing on the pre-production processes (such as planning, making a scheme, screenwriting, and location scouting), students will create a moving-image work under the premise that it will be shown to the general public.

講師との対話、学生同士の共同作業等が重要な要素となるため、対面での授業参加が必須条件となります。
完成・上映を目的とした映像作品を制作しながら、その制作過程を理解することを目的とします。
「映像論ワークショップ１」では、特にプリプロダクションの方法論を研究します。

劇映画、ドキュメンタリー、アートや音楽とのコラボレーション等、個々の学生が制作したい映像作品に合わせて、参考となる文献・映像作品等を提示しながら研究。
不特定多数への公開を前提として、特にプリプロダクション（企画・構想・シナリオ・ロケハン等）に重点を置いて、映像作品の制作を行います。
