In this class, students will acquire skills and knowledge related to sound in visual productions, especially those used in the post-production stage. With these, they will be able to enrich their ideas regarding sound in such productions.
Most of the class will be devoted to learning about the most widely used sound system in the motion picture industry, AVID ProTools.
Guidance for obtaining adequate recordings will be provided as well, since this is a prerequisite for the above.
If a student is currently working on a production, it is advisable to work on and finish the sound for that production.
Guidance counseling will be provided freely, and class contents will be modified as necessary.

この授業は映像作品における音響に関する技術と知識、とりわけポスト・プロダクション(仕上げ)工程の技術と知識を習得することを目標とする。それに伴い、映像における音響について考えを深める。

映像業界で最も使用されている音響システムAVID ProToolsの使用を学ぶことが主たる内容である。
その前提となる適切な録音についても指導する。
受講生が制作している作品がある場合、その音響を実践的に仕上げていくことが望ましい。
適宜相談して授業内容を変更していく。
