In order to write a master's thesis (business research and business design), this course provides advice and guidance on how to write research papers and business plans.
The faculty member is an expert in business development in the field of sustainability. With regard to business research, the specialty lies in the methodology of econometrics and game theory. The theme of the thesis will be decided by each student's interest. The process of writing and supervising the thesis will consist of the following steps: (1) research question, (2) survey of previous research, (3) hypothesis construction, (4) methodology of verification, (5) data analysis or model analysis, and (6) derivation of conclusions.
In the case of business design, the process is also carried out in accordance with business research, but in the case of business design, in addition to the methodology for analyzing business strategy, analysis of corporate purpose, creation of social value, and individual values is also carried out in parallel. The operation is carried out in a seminar format, and the decision is made after consultation depending on the progress of the graduate students' composition.

本科目では、全授業回数の50％以上がディスカッションなど双方向形式の授業によって運営されます。
修士論文（ビジネスリサーチおよびビジネスデザイン）を作成するため、研究論文の作成方法およびビジネスプランの作成方法につき助言と指導を行う。
In order to write a master's thesis (business research and business design), this course provides advice and guidance on how to write research papers and business plans.
教員はビジネスデザインに関してはサステナビリティ分野の新規事業開発が専門であり、また、ビジネスリサーチに関しては、計量経済学またはゲーム理論を方法論が専門である。論文のテーマは、各自の問題意識を尊重する。論文作成およびその指導のプロセスは(1)リサーチクエスチョン、(2)先行研究の調査、(3)仮説構築、(4)検証の方法論、(5)データ解析 またはモデル解析、(6)結論の導出の各ステップで構成する。
ビジネスデザインの場合もそのプロセスはビジネスリサーチに準じて進めるが、事業戦略の分析方法論に加えて、企業のパーパスや社会的価値の創造、個人の価値観等の分析を並行して実施する。運営はゼミ形式で進め、院生の構成・進捗に応じて相談のうえ決定したい。
