The purpose of this course is to acquire the standard knowledge of statistics. As this course includes elementary contents, I recommend that students who already have sufficient knowledge take higher-level courses.
In this course, we learn probabilities, data organization, probability distributions, statistical estimations and testing. Students will confirm and understand the meanings of statistical terms commonly found in various documents, such as normal distributions, statistical inferences, and hypothesis testing.
