【Course Objectives】

In agriculture, a variety of farm management and production techniques are developed due to differences in location and climate conditions specific to each region. The most common type of family business (family business) has historically had certain advantages and disadvantages, but today it faces many challenges. In this course, we will examine the particularities and generalities of the agricultural sector, as well as discuss the challenges of corporations entering agriculture and building relationships with the food industry.

【Course Contents】

Although agricultural management is diversifying, family farming continues to be the mainstream in developed countries. In addition, agriculture is often connected to various related industries and provides many business opportunities. So, we will consider its characteristics and possibilities. In the many of countries, there are many farmers and businesses that have a particular strength in localization, but in recent years there has been an increase in the number of export-oriented businesses. In this course, we will consider the actual state of companies' entry into agriculture, management and marketing issues, etc.
