In this class, students will learn how managers are developed from case studies, and the goal is for students themselves to have an awareness of what it means to be a manager, a management perspective, and a managerial awareness that allows them to imagine what happens in the field, not only in theory but also in practice.
The program is designed not only for those who aim to become managers, but also for those who aim to exercise leadership and management in an organization.
In this class, we will explore the image of a manager and management style through discussion.
■Class Process
1. After carefully reading the book, formulate your own opinion on issues related to the actions and awareness of managers.
2. Have a discussion about the discussion topic in class based on your own opinions.
3. Put into practice what you learned and realized in class by the next week and give feedback to the students.
■Feedback from students
・In this class, I had a good time reconsidering my company and myself. In particular, there was a lot of content to think about in relation to my own current situation, which was really helpful, and it was also good that I was able to understand my own deficiencies.
・When I listened to the professor's real-time practical experiences and stories from other companies, I realized that every company has different experiences, and I felt a little relieved, but at the same time, I felt motivated to do my best.
・By sharing case studies with other students in response to pre-assignment assignments, I was able to organize my own thinking and absorb the students' ways of thinking, which allowed me to learn about new values and directions, which was extremely helpful. It was a meaningful time.
・I think the cycle of "preliminary report → presentation/discussion. Sharing → teacher's explanation/follow-up → practice at work → further sharing through class comments" was very powerful. The best part of this experience was that I was able to reflect on myself and organize my thoughts about my role and qualifications as a manager, and what I should be working on now for the future.

本科目は、5年以上の実務経験を有する実務家教員による授業であり、全授業回数の50％以上がディスカッションなど双方向形式の授業によって運営されます。
本授業では、理論だけでなく、経営視点はもちろん、現場で生じることを想像できる「経営者としての姿」を受講生自らが意識し、経営者マインド、マネジメント意識を持ち行動できるようになることを目標としている。
授業での学びを実務で活かし、フィードバックすることを7週間を通じて実践する。
必ずしも経営者を目指すものだけでなく、組織の中でリーダーシップを発揮し、マネジメントを行うことを目指す受講生の参加も想定している。
幅広い興味と積極性をもって、授業に参加されることを期待しています。

■授業の内容
本授業では、経営者の姿、マネジメントスタイルについてディスカッションを通じて探求する。
■授業の進め方
１．シラバス記載のテキストを熟読後、マネジメントに関連する事前課題に対して自分の意見をレポートにまとめ事前提出する
２．自分の意見を基に、授業内で提示するディスカッションテーマに関してグループで議論を行う
３．授業内での学び、気付きを翌週までに実践し、受講生へフィードバックする
■過去の受講者からのフィードバック
・自分の現状に置き換えて考える内容がたくさんあり、本当に参考になり、また自身の足りない点も把握できたことも良かった。
・リアルタイムな実務の話や他社の話などを聞くと、どの会社でもいろいろあるのかということを感じ、少しほっとした気持ちになったのと同時に、自分も頑張ろうという気持ちになれた。
・「事前レポート→発表・議論。共有→先生の解説・フォロー→業務で実践→さらに授業コメントで共有」というサイクルが強力であったと思います。この繰り返しの中で、経営者としての役割や資質、将来のために「いま」取り組むべきことについて、自分自身を内省し考えを整理でき、さらに受講生の考えを吸収する事で、新たな価値観や方向性について学ぶことがもでき、非常に有意義な時間だった。
In this class, we will explore the image of a manager and management style through discussion.
