The aim of this course is to understand theories in philosophy, ethics, social epidemiology, disability studies, sociology, history studies, behavioral economics,disaster prevention science,related to risk from the perspective of social design in order to build a new risk governance framework.
In class, we will read literature related to political science, public philosophy, legal philosophy, bioethics, medical ethics, public health ethics, social epidemiology, disability studies, sociology,behavioral economics,history,disaster prevention science and will discuss social issues of risk.

社会デザインの視点から、リスク学に隣接する哲学・思想、倫理学、社会疫学、障害学、社会学、歴史学、行動経済学、防災学に関する理論や知見、議論の状況について俯瞰的に学び、現代社会を取り巻くリスクの分析方法や新たなリスクガバナンスのフレームワークについて考究する。
The aim of this course is to understand theories in philosophy, ethics, social epidemiology, disability studies, sociology, history studies, behavioral economics,disaster prevention science,related to risk from the perspective of social design in order to build a new risk governance framework.
授業では、政治・公共・科学・法哲学、生命・医療・公衆衛生倫理、社会疫学、障害学、社会学、歴史学、行動経済学、防災学に関する文献を講読し、受講生による課題の発表と討論を通じて、現代社会のリスクに関する事件や社会的な論争の事例を分析する。
In class, we will read literature related to political science, public philosophy, legal philosophy, bioethics, medical ethics, public health ethics, social epidemiology, disability studies, sociology,behavioral economics,history,disaster prevention science and will discuss social issues of risk.
