社会デザイン研究科では、教室での対面授業を基本としながら、同時に遠隔地在住の学生の学びを保証するため、オンラインでも受講できる形で授業を行う。なお、履修者全員の了承が取れた場合には、「対面のみ」もしくは「オンラインのみ」で授業を行うこともある。 |
The goal of this class is to understand the basic theory and methods of social research, paying attention to both qualitative and quantitative surveys, and to acquire techniques for practical application.
This course aims to further the mastery of social research theory, methods, and techniques for practice, and will include lectures on the basic methods of qualitative surveys (especially participant observation and document analysis) and quantitative survey (especially questionnaire survey). Ethics in conducting social research will also be covered. In addition to lectures, we plan to incorporate practical training as needed, so active participation in class is expected. Please note that the content and order of the class plan may be changed depending on the number of students, etc.

本科目は授業回の全てにおいて、理論等学術的な知見を踏まえつつ、担当教員の実務家としての経験、または研究成果を活かし、教員と学生との双方向の討論を重視した実践的な授業とする。学生には、課題の発表や討論など、授業での積極的な参加を期待する。
この授業では、質的調査と量的調査の双方に目配りしながら、社会調査の基本的な理論と方法について理解し、実践に向けた技法を身につけることを目標とします。
The goal of this class is to understand the basic theory and methods of social research, paying attention to both qualitative and quantitative surveys, and to acquire techniques for practical application.
この授業では、社会調査に関する理論と方法、実践に向けた技法のさらなる習得をめざし、質的調査（とくに参与観察法、ドキュメント分析）および量的調査（とくに調査票調査）の基本的な方法について講義をします。また、社会調査を実施するうえでの倫理についても取り上げます。講義のほか、適宜、実習等の形式も取り入れる予定ですので、授業への積極的な参加を期待します。なお、受講者の人数等により、授業計画の内容・順序等を一部変更する場合があります。
