社会デザイン研究科では、教室での対面授業を基本としながら、同時に遠隔地在住の学生の学びを保証するため、オンラインでも受講できる形で授業を行う。なお、履修者全員の了承が取れた場合には、「対面のみ」もしくは「オンラインのみ」で授業を行うこともある。 |
From the time we faced the Lehman Shock, a condensation of distorted capitalism born from humanity’s insatiable greed, we have been earnestly searching for a vision of post-capitalism. More than a decade has passed since then, and we have yet to discover a new economic model.
However, the economic magazine Forbes JAPAN, to which the lecturer in charge of this class belongs, has put forward the concept of "Inclusive Capitalism." This idea aims to create a society and economy that includes those who live outside the boundaries of economic rationality and market systems, fostering empathy and shared values.
What is needed to establish such a new framework? Together with the students of this course, I hope to engage in discussions and explore the possibilities of new forms of economy and society.
Focusing on the concept of "social impact," which is important in this new era, the following case studies, we will explore the shape of the new economy through the way of thinking, organizations, and companies that will create the era including approaches from areas beyond business.

・Long-lived small and medium-sized enterprises that have been thriving in Japan for a long time.

本科目は授業回の全てにおいて、理論等学術的な知見を踏まえつつ、担当教員の実務家としての経験、または研究成果を活かし、教員と学生との双方向の討論を重視した実践的な授業とする。学生には、課題の発表や討論など、授業での積極的な参加を期待する。
人々の欲深き心が生み出した、歪んだ資本主義の結露としてのリーマンショックを迎えたあたりから、私たちは真剣にポスト資本主義の姿を模索してきた。それから十数年以上の歳月が流れ、いまだ新しい経済の姿を見出すことができていない。
しかし、この授業を担当させていただく講師が所属する経済誌「Forbes JAPAN」では、「Inclusive Capitalism」というコンセプトを打ち出し、経済合理性や市場システムから離れたところで生き、暮らしている者たちをも包括し、共感を生み出す社会・経済の形成を目指している。
そのような新しい仕組みには何が必要なのか。受講生の皆さんと議論を重ねながら、新しい経済や社会の形を模索したい。
