社会デザイン研究科では、教室での対面授業を基本としながら、同時に遠隔地在住の学生の学びを保証するため、オンラインでも受講できる形で授業を行う。なお、履修者全員の了承が取れた場合には、「対面のみ」もしくは「オンラインのみ」で授業を行うこともある。 |
This course aims to theoretically examine the challenges facing men in contemporary society by exploring the accumulated research on men's studies and masculinity in Japan, as well as social practices targeting men.
While reading books and papers on topics related to masculinity—such as male perpetration, challenges in male life, homosociality, and male privilege—students will acquire foundational knowledge to begin studying men's issues. Additionally, researchers and practitioners focusing on men's issues across various fields will be invited as guest lecturers.

本科目は授業回の全てにおいて、理論等学術的な知見を踏まえつつ、担当教員の実務家としての経験、または研究成果を活かし、教員と学生との双方向の討論を重視した実践的な授業とする。学生には、課題の発表や討論など、授業での積極的な参加を期待する。
本授業では、日本における男性学・男性性研究の蓄積や、男性を対象とした社会的実践を紐解いていくことで、現代における男性たちを取り巻く課題を理論的に学ぶことを目指す。
This course aims to theoretically examine the challenges facing men in contemporary society by exploring the accumulated research on men's studies and masculinity in Japan, as well as social practices targeting men.
男性の加害性や生きづらさ、ホモソーシャル、男性特権など、男性性にかかわるトピックを扱った書籍や論文を読みながら、男性研究を始めるための基礎的な知識を学ぶ。また、各領域で男性問題をテーマにしている研究者や実践者をゲストとして呼んでレクチャーを行う。
