社会デザイン研究科では、教室での対面授業を基本としながら、同時に遠隔地在住の学生の学びを保証するため、オンラインでも受講できる形で授業を行う。なお、履修者全員の了承が取れた場合には、「対面のみ」もしくは「オンラインのみ」で授業を行うこともある。 |
This course examines the roles and significance of art and expressive practices in post-disaster societies and communities, focusing on the 15 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. By learning from the experience of a single disaster, students develop methods for articulating and sharing their own experiences and those of others.
The course includes lectures on relevant case studies and topics, as well as close readings of assigned texts. Students must read the designated chapters in advance and submit a selected passage with a brief written reflection (approx. 400 Japanese characters).

本科目は授業回の全てにおいて、理論等学術的な知見を踏まえつつ、担当教員の実務家としての経験、または研究成果を活かし、教員と学生との双方向の討論を重視した実践的な授業とする。学生には、課題の発表や討論など、授業での積極的な参加を期待する。
災害後の社会や地域において、アート（表現活動）が果たす役割や意義について、東日本大震災から15年の出来事に焦点をあわせることで理解を深めるものとする。ひとつの災害の経験を学び、自らや他者の経験を語るための手法を獲得することを目指す。

本授業が扱うテーマに関する事例やトピックについてのレクチャーと文献の講読を行う。なお、受講生は事前に講読文献（瀬尾夏美『あわいゆくころ 陸前高田、震災後を生きる』）の該当する章を読み、気になった１節と感想（400字程度）を提出する。
