社会デザイン研究科では、教室での対面授業を基本としながら、同時に遠隔地在住の学生の学びを保証するため、オンラインでも受講できる形で授業を行う。なお、履修者全員の了承が取れた場合には、「対面のみ」もしくは「オンラインのみ」で授業を行うこともある。 |
To understand the reality of the function and organization of the United Nations, and to understand how the negotiations at the United Nations, especially on the SDGs, have evolved. Furthermore, to think about how the United Nations should be changed, and how we should respond to the discussions on the post SDGs.
In the 1st and 2nd classes, to give lectures on the function and the organization of the United Nations. From the 3rd to the 7th classes, to give lectures on the negotiations and the post-agreement process of the SDGs. From the 8th to the 11th classes, to give lectures on other processes of the United Nations, such as climate change, human rights, the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice, and Peace Keeping Operations. In the 12th class, to think about and discuss how the United Nations should be changed, and how we should respond to the post-SDGs process. Until the 12th class, each class will consist of a 70-minute lecture and a 30-minute discussion. In the 13th and 14th classes, students should make presentations and have discussions.

国際機関、国連に関する基礎知識。SDGsに関する基礎知識。
本科目は授業回の全てにおいて、理論等学術的な知見を踏まえつつ、担当教員の実務家としての経験、または研究成果を活かし、教員と学生との双方向の討論を重視した実践的な授業とする。学生には、課題の発表や討論など、授業での積極的な参加を期待する。
国連の組織の実態を理解するとともに、国連等における実際の交渉がどのように展開していくのか、特にSDGsの例を学ぶ。さらに、将来的に国連がどのようになっていくのか、ポストSDGsについてどのように対応すべきか、考察する。
To understand the reality of the function and organization of the United Nations, and to understand how the negotiations at the United Nations, especially on the SDGs, have evolved. Furthermore, to think about how the United Nations should be changed, and how we should respond to the discussions on the post SDGs.
最初の２回は国連の組織、機能について講義を行う。3回目から7回目まではSDGsの交渉が実際にどのように行われたかについて講義を行う。8回目から11回目までは、そのほかの国連の交渉、気候変動交渉、人権、国際司法裁判所・国際刑事裁判所、国連平和維持活動等ではどのようになっているか講義を行う。12回目においては、国連の将来、ポストSDGs交渉などについて考察を行う。ここまでの講義においては、概ね70分の講義、30分の受講生との対話の形式で行う。最後の2回は、受講者による発表および質疑応答・意見交換を行う。
In the 1st and 2nd classes, to give lectures on the function and the organization of the United Nations. From the 3rd to the 7th classes, to give lectures on the negotiations and the post-agreement process of the SDGs.
