社会デザイン研究科では、教室での対面授業を基本としながら、同時に遠隔地在住の学生の学びを保証するため、オンラインでも受講できる形で授業を行う。なお、履修者全員の了承が取れた場合には、「対面のみ」もしくは「オンラインのみ」で授業を行うこともある。 |
Public transportation is indispensable for urban living.Mobility is an essential requirement for cities, alongside residence, work, and leisure.For urban dwellers, whether “freedom of movement” is guaranteed directly impacts their quality of life.However, in recent years, maintaining public transportation has become increasingly difficult, particularly in regional cities, leading to a rise in service suspensions and reductions. This course will explore the role of mobility in considering the sustainability of regional communities.
In class, students will analyze current sustainability challenges in cities after understanding the state of various types of public transportation.We will deepen our understanding through discussions on how to specifically redesign public transportation, taking into account the unique circumstances of each region, to address these challenges.

研究科の学事・行事（報告会、進学相談会等）と授業時間が重複した場合、その日の授業についてはオンデマンド講義となる場合がある。
本科目は授業回の全てにおいて、理論等学術的な知見を踏まえつつ、担当教員の実務家としての経験、または研究成果を活かし、教員と学生との双方向の討論を重視した実践的な授業とする。学生には、課題の発表や討論など、授業での積極的な参加を期待する。
都市生活を送るうえで公共交通機関の存在は欠かすことができない。都市である要件にも「居住」「労働」「余暇」と並んで「移動」は必須条件となっている。都市生活者にとって「移動の自由」が保証されているか否かは、生活の質（QoL）に直接左右する。しかし、近年地方都市を中心に公共交通機関の維持が難しくなってきており、廃止や減便が増えている。本授業では地域生活の持続可能性を考えるうえでのモビリティの在り方について考えていく。

授業では都市におけるさまざまなタイプの公共交通機関等の現状を理解したうえで、現在生じている持続可能性における課題を分析する。それらの課題に対して、地域ごとの事情を前提に具体的にどういった公共交通リデザインをしていくことが考えられるのかについて議論を交わしながら理解を深めていく。
