This course will provide general guidance in preparing a Master's thesis. It aims to obtain general knowledge about social science research.
Master's Thesis Supervision 1 is an introduction to writing a thesis. The course discusses various basic issues related to the nature of academic research. Students will also learn different approaches to social science research (i.e., the philosophy of social science). At the end of the course, students are expected to develop theoretical thinking in social inquiry and choose a particular approach to their research project.
