備考/ NotesNotes |
The course aims to provide students with an understanding of the concept and approach to human resource development that focuses on better performance of individuals and organizations and capacity development that relates to development planning and social institutions.
Focusing on individuals and organizations, human resource development involves a process of strategic accumulation of knowledge, learning, application to practice, and iteration to improve individual and organizational performance. In recent years, the concept of human resource development has expanded to the national level and has come into close proximity with the concept of capacity development, which facilitates development planning and the improvement of social institutions. In this course, students will deepen their understanding of the concepts and practices of human resource development and capacity development by analyzing approaches and case studies from the United Nations and the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
