This course aims for students to understand relevant theories and research approaches within the environmental humanities as the foundation of sustainable education, or education for sustainable development (ESD).
This course offers an overview of the environmental humanities (EH) as the basis of sustainable education, or education for sustainable development (ESD), in the current geologic epoch called "the Anthropocene." It introduces a range of topics and relevant theories within the EH.
