【Course Objectives】

The aim of this course is to learn about social development in Indonesia by reading texts. It also provides students with knowledge to think about and discuss various issues through case studies. Students will be required to review the assigned literature and make a presentation with comments. Following the report by the student in charge, all students will engage in a discussion.

【Course Contents】

The students will be assigned a literature review on social development in Indonesia. The student in charge of the assigned session will discuss on case studies of education, healthcare, conflict resolution and poverty alleviation in Indonesia in class. Through these discussions, students are expected to acquire knowledge of the social development in Indonesia. The course will engage students in critical discussions to deepen their understanding of the complexities in social development in Indonesia.
