【Course Objectives】

Project Cycle Management course is designed to provide students with practical knowledge of the management method, skill and tool for development projects. Students will learn multiple steps of participatory planning and evaluation method.

【Course Contents】

The class will focus on Project Cycle Management that is one of the management methods widely used in the international development community. The method includes participatory planning, monitoring, and evaluating stages of development projects.
The course introduces visual and written cases which enable students to understand how projects are planned, monitored and evaluated in the local context. Some important concepts such as participatory development, logical framework approach, ownership by stakeholders, institutional development, gender issue, and private sector's role will be discussed. Students active participation is expected.
