This course aims to help students to clarify their research themes and methodologies, learn methods of writing academic papers, acquire other basic expertise and skills required to write master’s theses, and practice academic writing.
This course aims to help students precisely determine a research topic and method for their thesis. To achieve this goal, students will have to engage with texts on theoretical foundations, research methods, and scientific discussions relating to international cooperation and development. Additionally, students will be required to deliver a presentation on their selected research topics and develop the skills of writing an academic paper.

本講義は、修士論文・課題研究作成に向けて、研究と論述の基本的な手法を習得することを目的とする。
This course aims to help students to clarify their research themes and methodologies, learn methods of writing academic papers, acquire other basic expertise and skills required to write master’s theses, and practice academic writing.
国際協力，途上国の開発に関する具体的現象を研究対象に，理論的枠組，分析，考察する方法，研究対象についての専門知識を踏まえながら，先行研究および研究方法の動向を理解したうえで，研究テーマ，方法を具体化する。受講者は、自らの研究テーマについての報告・発表を随時おこない、論文執筆に向けて具体的な知識を習得していく。
