The primary objectives of the course are to:
1. familiarise students with the significance and methodology of replication studies in second language acquisition research;
2. enable students to design replication research in second language acquisition; and
3. enable students to critically analyze previous replication studies in second language acquisition research
This course addresses the significance and implementation methods of replication studies in second language acquisition research, critically examining existing replication studies in students’ areas of interest. Students will also develop their own research plans using replication studies. To this end, students are required to engage with assigned readings, student presentations, and group discussion.

1. 第二言語習得研究における再現研究の意義とあり方について理解する
2. 第二言語習得研究における再現研究の研究計画を立てることができる
3. 第二言語習得研究における再現研究を用いた論文について批判的に考察する

このコースでは、第二言語習得研究おける再現研究（Replication study）について、分野における意義や再現研究の実施方法について議論する。また受講者が関心のある領域における既存の再現研究を扱いながら批判的に考察し、自身でも再現研究を用いた研究計画を立案する。そのために、学生は読み物、プレゼンテーション、グループディスカッションに参加することが求められる。
