【Course Objectives】

We now face mounting inequality, escalating political violence, warring fundamentalisms and an environmental crisis. How can we fashion a world that has room for everyone, for generations to come? These are urgent questions, and Tim Ingold declares no other discipline is better placed to address them than anthropology. We learn why anthropology matters to us all, by reading Ingold's Anthropology.

【Course Contents】

In this class, students will read the Japanese translation of Tim Ingold’s Anthropology.
