―Critically examine the concepts of development and peace, and discuss approaches to development that respect the needs and perspectives of local people.
In this course, we will read texts discussing various issues of development and peacebuilding, and examine the significance and challenges of development and peacebuilding studies. Additionally, we aim to cultivate a multifaceted perspective for analyzing the structural factors of conflicts, while also considering psychological aspects. Through this approach, we seek to engage in discussions on development and peacebuilding with a broad and comprehensive outlook.

本授業では、開発・平和構築の諸問題を論じているテキストを講読し、開発・平和構築研究の意義と課題を検討する。また、紛争の構造的な要因を多角的に分析する視点を養い、さらに心理的な部分にも考えを巡らせ、幅広い視野で開発・平和構築について議論したい。
In this course, we will read texts discussing various issues of development and peacebuilding, and examine the significance and challenges of development and peacebuilding studies.
