This course aims for students to understand the theory and key concepts of child and family welfare, examine issues surrounding children and future initiatives to address them, and improve ability to put the initiatives into practice.
Students will reflect on their own such practice and connect it to their research topic.
Students will be able to acquire an understanding of the philosophy, social background, and changes to the system regarding child and family welfare. In particular, we will consider the prevention of and measures against child abuse and neglct, which has serious impact on the physical and mental development of a child and in shaping their personality.

本講義では、文献・論文購読、受講生によるディスカッションを通して、実践と理論を結び付けることを目指す。
模擬事例を用いた事例検討も予定している。
こども家庭福祉に関する理論や主要概念を理解し、こどもを取り巻く課題と今後の取り組みについて考察し、実践力の向上を目指す。実践の省察を踏まえて、自己の研究課題と結び付ける。また、研究のプレゼンテーション力を身につける。

こどもと家族の福祉に関する理念、社会的背景及び制度の変遷等を理解し、特にこどもの心身の成長及び人格の形成に重大な影響を与える児童虐待の予防と対策について検討する。
自己の研究のプレゼンテーションを含む。
