Students are expected to actively learn about various research topics in developmental psychology and to acquire advanced knowledge about the development of the human mind. Students are also expected to integrate their own research activities and knowledge learned through this class and to propose important and novel research directions about developmental psychology.
In every-week class, several presenters will be pre-selected from students. The presenters prepare a presentation about assigned research topics regarding developmental psychology. The other students must participate in discussion after the presentations to promote learning of the research topics shown in the presentations.

発達心理学と関連する様々な研究トピックスについて能動的に学ぶことで、ヒトの心の発達に関する発展的知識を身につける。さらにそうした知識と自身の研究活動との関係を体系的に整理・統合し、発達心理学研究における重要・かつ新規な論点を提示することができるようになる。
