In this class, we will (1) follow the genealogy of image theory and body theory, (2) position the new humanities of the 21st century in a diachronic and synchronic manner, and (3) explain its basic concepts. (4) The relationship between philosophy and art will also be discussed in accordance with students' interests, in order to dynamically reconsider human beings and the universe in the context of philosophical theory and artistic practice, while drawing on the findings of contemporary humanities sciences.

この授業では、イメージと身体に関する主要概念・理論を理解し、批判的に運用できる力を養う。その上で、得られた視座を自身の博士論文の問題設定・方法論・分析に接続し、研究の精度を高めることを目指す。
本授業では、（1）イメージ論と身体論の系譜を追いつつ、（2）21世紀の新たな人文学を通時的・共時的に位置づけ、（3）その基礎概念について解説する。現代人文諸科学の知見を援用しつつ、哲学的理論と芸術的実践の往還の中で、人間と世界を動的に捉え直すため、（４）学生の関心に応じて、哲学と芸術の関係についても、ともに考察していく。
