You will acquire the basic knowledge and research methods required for studying at the university’s Department of Christian Studies.
While reading introductory texts, you will gain basic knowledge of Christian studies, and develop reading, analyzing and logical thinking ability.
Add to this, you will learn academic skills concerning collecting materials, presentation and writing.
All participants do assignments for each class.
Regaｒding presented issues, student must write an outline summary or report, and make a presentation.
Aｌｌ student must engage in discussion and exchange opinions.

キリスト教学科において基礎となる専門知識と学問研究方法を獲得する。
基礎文献を通じて、専門知識および読解、分析、論理的思考の能力などを養う。
それとともに、PCやオンラインシステムを活用した共同作業を伴う、ディスカッション、文献収集方法、プレゼンテーション作法、レポート作成に関する技能も身につける。

授業回ごとの課題を行ったうえで授業に参加する。
諸テーマについて文献の要約また論述および発表を行う。
ディスカッションで相互検討を行う。

各担当者の示す予習課題及びまとめ課題。
課題提出にあたってはMaster of Writingおよびテキストの『本を読む本』『論文の書き方』を参照。
また発表に際してはMaster of Presentationを参照のこと。

（授業内容は受講者の状況などによって変更される場合がある。また合同クラスで行うこともある）
図書館ガイダンスまた情報検索講習を行うことがある。その場合には合同クラスで行うこと、または、
Blackboardの以下の公開コースの各自の履修をもって行うこともある。
【図書館ガイダンス】Blackboardの「公開コース」（https://bb.rikkyo.ac.jp/webapps/portal/execute/tabs/tabAction?tab_tab_group_id=_15_1）から入って「立教大学図書館」にある履修年度のフォルダにある全コンテンツを確認。
全授業回のうち半数以上を対面授業回とする。スケジュールについては入学者の状況と授業の進捗状況を踏まえて調整し、指示する。
