【授業の目標 / Course Objectives】

キリスト教思想史において、これまで中心的なテーマとなってきた問題に、アガペーとエロースをめぐる問題、愛、性、聖、身体、苦しみ、そのほか神と人間をめぐる問題群がある。それは星雲のごとくにそこかしこにきらめく様々な問題系から成立しており、その複雑多様なる思想展開のさまを一目のもとに把握することは、極めて困難な作業である。とはいえ、そこへとむけて思索を出発しなければ、根本的な理解へと到達することは不可能である。この授業では、そうした無辺の問題系に向けてわずかなる一歩を進めるための出発点となる問題探求を行い、また、それを共に学ぶ人々との間に共有され、ともにその道を歩みゆく同行のともがらとなる機縁となることをめざす。

Issues concerning agape and eros, that is, love, have been one of the central themes in the history of Christian ideas. Such issues consist of a vast range of systems of problems, and it is a Herculean task to gain a complete view of the complex and diverse development of the ideas involved. However, we cannot gain a fundamental understanding if we do not embark on this journey of contemplation. In this class, we will look for themes that will serve as a starting point for taking a step, albeit very small, toward such boundless systems of problems, with the aim of making it an opportunity for those learning together to share their ideas and become companions in the journey of contemplation.

【授業の内容 / Course Contents】

テキストを読解して他者の思想を正確に理解しようとする態度が求められる。
また、他者の考え方を理解することによって、自己理解を振り返る態度を養うことが求められる。
そのために、グループディスカッション及び授業関係提出課題の相互レヴューを行う。
それによって自分自身の考えを他者に伝え、また、他者の考えをきき、協同的に理解を深め合う態度を養うことが求められる。
そのために、教室内では、グループディスカッションで自分自身の考えを積極的に他者に伝えることが前提となるほか、
授業課題で各自が提出する文章は、基本的にすべて大学学習支援Webシステムの所定の範囲内で、記名式で相互閲覧可能とすることになる。
こうしたことを事前に承知したうえで受講することが求められる。
基本的に、受講者は、各自でそれらのテキストを読解し、自ら学んだ内容を、グループディスカッションで共有しつつ、相互に学び合うことが求められる。
受講者の状況によって講読テキスト箇所や進度が調整される。

You are expected to be willing to read through texts and accurately understand others’ ideas.
You are also expected to develop an attitude of reflecting on your self-understanding through understanding others’ ideas.
To this end, we will hold group discussions and peer review sessions for class-related assignments.
Based on such activities, you are expected to develop an attitude whereby you convey your own thoughts to others, listen to others’ ideas, and deepen mutual understanding of a cooperative manner.
Therefore, in the class, it is essential that you actively convey your ideas to others in group discussions. Furthermore, all assignment papers that you submit will basically be made identifiable and viewable to others within the predetermined scope of the university’s learning assistance web system.
You should be aware of these before registering for the course.
Basically, you are expected to read texts independently and share what you have learned with others in group discussions so as to promote mutual learning.
Sections of the texts to be read in the class and the pace of reading will be adjusted according to the situation of students.
