We will pick some problems concerning bioethics that are currently being raised in our lives and that students are interested in, consider where those problems exist, and look into what human dignity is. Additionally, we will look into the state of being alive and its meaning.
Today, as various technologies are being introduced into the medical field, problems relating to bioethics are becoming a serious issue that we cannot avoid. In this seminar, we will choose topics that students are interested in from among problems raised with regard to life, grasp the status of the problems, and consider the understanding of people that underlies the problems. Through this work, we will think about human dignity and look into our way of life.

今日わたしたちの生活の中で提起されている生命倫理をめぐる諸問題の中から、参加者の関心に応じていくつかをとりあげ、問題の在処を検討するとともに、「人間の尊厳とは」を考究する。併せて「わたしが生きている」という事態とその意味を問う。
We will pick some problems concerning bioethics that are currently being raised in our lives and that students are interested in, consider where those problems exist, and look into what human dignity is. Additionally, we will look into the state of being alive and its meaning.
今日、医療現場への科学技術の導入に伴い生命倫理をめぐる諸問題が、私たちにとって避けて通ることのできない重大な課題となっている。本演習では「いのち」をめぐって提起されている問題の中から、参加者が自身の関心に応じてテーマを選定し、問題の情況を把握すると共に、それらの問題の背景や根柢にある人間理解を検討する。この作業を通じて、人間の尊厳について考え、また自らの生き方を考究する。
