4. Each participants explore topics in which they are interested and present their research in the course.
We discuss some topics in modern European history. Before the course, the participants should read literature and understand its content. In addition, the participants should research the topics themselves. The students summarize the content of the literatures and the results of their research. On the presentation we discuss the topics.

１）ヨーロッパ近現代史に関する日本語文献の内容を理解することができる。
２）必要な関連事項を調べる方法を身につける。
３）歴史学とはどのような学問かについて議論する。
４）各受講生が、自分が興味を持つテーマについて調査し、それを発表する。

ヨーロッパ近現代史についての日本語の文献を輪読します。その際に、１）正確に読んで内容を理解する ２）疑問点や関係する事項を調べる ３）内容、疑問点、関連事項を配布資料にまとめ、口頭で報告し、それを基に参加者全員で議論します。
We discuss some topics in modern European history. Before the course, the participants should read literature and understand its content. In addition, the participants should research the topics themselves. The students summarize the content of the literatures and the results of their research. On the presentation we discuss the topics.

| 7 | 文献講読（６） 西洋近現代史の日本語の研究文献を輪読する。どの研究文献を取り上げるかは、初回までに担当者の方で示す。参加者は、事前に各回で取り上げる部分を読み、わからないところ、納得がいかないところを書きだし、毎回提出すること。各回のゼミでは、各自のわからないところ、納得がいかないところをいいあって、議論をしていきたい。 |

| 9 | グループ報告と質疑応答（２） 担当者が提示するテーマについて、担当教員が指定した文献をつかってグループで調べ、それについて報告する。司会団も他のグループが担当し、学問的な議論を体験する。 |
