Students will acquire ability to accurately comprehend specialized literature in Japanese and English on Western medieval and Renaissance history, which is essential for writing graduation theses and seminars in thesis writing, and will acquire surveying ability required for participants in writing their own theses.
In each session, students will create outlines of assigned literature in Japanese and English aligned with to the class themes, and will engage in group reading and discussions. Participants will also report on their own research as appropriate.

卒業論文・卒業論文予備演習で不可欠となる、西洋中世・ルネサンス史に関する邦語専門論文・英語専門文献の正確な読解力ならびに参加者自身の論文執筆に必要な調査能力を身につける。

テーマに沿った指定邦語論文ならびに指定英語文献を、毎回レジュメをきり、輪読・議論する。適宜、参加者自身の研究報告も行われる。
