This course aims to examine issues in modern British and other European history, and to develop students' abilities for individual research (finding research questions, literature review, academic paper writing and debate).
In each session, this course will focus on individual research themes on modern British and other European history, in line with the interest of students. Through individual presentation, students will develop their understanding of modern British and other European history.

イギリス史をはじめとして，ヨーロッパ近代史の諸問題を検討し, 個別研究を進めていく諸過程（問題発見, 調査, 論文構成, 討論など）で必要となる実践的能力の育成をめざす。
This course aims to examine issues in modern British and other European history, and to develop students' abilities for individual research (finding research questions, literature review, academic paper writing and debate).
毎回, 参加者の関心にそってイギリス史をはじめとするヨーロッパ近代史の個別的な研究テーマを演習形式でとりあげる。参加者による個別報告, それをめぐる質疑応答を通じて, その問題の理解を深める。
