In this course, for writing up a graduation thesis, we aim at getting necessary skills of historical study, including obtaining information, understanding, and writing through reading sources and articles on Eurasian and Maritime Asian history.
In the first time, you introduce a theme of your thesis and two topics concerning it. After the second time, you make a presentation about your issues, and then we discuss what you presented. At the end of the second half, we require to submit a report on the researches concerning your theme and a rough draft of your thesis.

卒業予備論文の執筆を前提として、東西ユーラシア・海域アジア交流史に関する史料の読解を通じて歴史認識・情報収集・文章作成などの応用的な能力を身につけることを目標とします。

初回に各受講生のテーマについて経過報告の場を持ちます。以後の演習ではテーマに関わる史料読解と先行研究の整理をおこなった上で順番にレジュメ形式で発表してもらいます。秋学期の終わりに、(1)先行研究のまとめと(2)研究テーマの問題点に関わる小論をレポートとして提出してもらいます。
