The course has following aims:
1. Understanding the contents of research (in Japanese) on modern European history.
2. Learning the way to research topics which relate to the course
3. Ｄｉscussing what science history is
4. Each participants explore topics in which they are interested and present their research in the course.
In Seimar, the participants read Japanese research on topics in modern European history and discuss them.
Alongsides the participants prepare for their own research "予備論文".

１）ヨーロッパ近現代史に関する日本語文献の内容を理解することができる。
２）必要な関連事項を調べる方法を身につける。
３）歴史学とはどのような学問かについて議論する。
４）各受講生が、自分が興味を持つテーマについて調査し、それを発表する。

演習では、ヨーロッパ近現代史からいくつかのテーマについての文献を読み、議論する。
並行して、受講生は、予備論文の準備をする。
