Participants will be able to investigate literature in human geography, cultural anthropology, folklore studies, etc., conduct their own surveys, and accurately explain the content in class, according to their own interests.
Participants will select regions and themes of interest, read research papers and books related to these, summarize the content, analyze statistical data, conduct their own surveys, and report their findings in class. In addition, through general discussions after presentations, the course aims to have students deepen their understanding of the content and acquire the fundamental capabilities needed to conduct research. In the classes, participants will engage in repeated presentations and general discussions, clarify their research topics, and execute these under guidance on methods of research and surveying.

参加者各自の興味や関心に従って，人文地理学や文化人類学，民俗学などの文献を調べたり，自ら調査を実施したりして，その内容を授業で的確に説明できる。

参加者各自が興味関心のあるテーマと地域を選定して，それに関わる研究論文や著書などを読み，その内容をまとめたり，統計資料を分析したり，自ら調査を実施したりして，その成果を授業で報告する。また，発表後の全体討論を通じて，内容理解の深化と研究遂行に必要な基礎的能力の習得を図る。授業では参加者による発表と全体討論を繰り返しながら，各自の研究課題を明確化し，それを遂行するための研究・調査方法を導く。
