Students will acquire fundamental knowledge, concepts of folklore and research methods through basic literature, ethnography journals, and folklore surveys through fieldwork.
Based on what was learned in Seminar I11, students will: (1) Read and report on academic papers concerning their subjects of interest. (2) Carry out fieldwork. Students will deepen their knowledge through prior preparation and investigation, as well as through reports and discussions following fieldwork.

基礎文献や民俗誌の輪読、民俗調査を通して、フォークロアの知識と考え方、研究方法を身につける。
Students will acquire fundamental knowledge, concepts of folklore and research methods through basic literature, ethnography journals, and folklore surveys through fieldwork.
演習Ⅰ11で学んだことをふまえて、(1) 受講者各自の興味をもったテーマについての論文を読んで報告する。
(2) 民俗調査を行う。事前の準備・検討と、調査後の報告・討論を通して知見を深めていく。

個人発表のテキストは、受講者の興味を考慮し演習Ⅰ11で指示する。夏季休暇中にじっくりと読み、活発な議論ができるように、周到な発表準備をしておくこと。
