By conducting actual fieldwork on the lifestyles, societies, and cultures of people rooted in communities, collecting and empirically elucidating data, and summarizing reports based on the findings, students will learn methods for writing empirical papers.
Based on the findings of the preliminary survey performed in Field Work I1 (spring semester), the course will schedule a 4-day, 3-night program during the summer vacation period or fall semester to perform main surveys in line with students' themes, with Tsukechi-cho (tentative) in Nakatsugawa, Gifu Prefecture, as the field site. Students will then summarize the findings in reports.

地域に根ざした人々の生活、社会、文化について実際にフィールドワークを行い、データを収集して実証的に解明し、その成果を報告書にまとめることで、実証的論文執筆の方法を習得する。

フィールドワークＩ１（春学期）の予備調査の結果をふまえて、夏期休業もしくは秋学期中に３泊４日の予定で、岐阜県中津川市付知町（予定）をフィールドに各自のテーマに即して本調査を実施する。そして、その成果を報告書にまとめる。

この授業は、フィールドワークI1（春学期）の事前学習や予備調査の成果をもとに発展させるものである。「その他登録」であり、春学期のフィールドワークI1の初回授業時にフィールドワークI1およびI2の履修申請をする必要がある。 履修希望者は春学期初回授業のガイダンスに必ず出席すること。
