The purpose of this lecture is, first, to provide students with social, institutional, historical, and legal knowledge related to the teaching profession. Secondly, this course is designed to help each student develop a subjective awareness of the teaching profession. This lecture aims to help students deepen their professional understanding of the teaching profession, determine their own aptitude, and understand how the teaching profession can help them choose their own career path.
This lecture will prepare the participants to understand the social meanings of the teaching profession and school education, as well as the roles and qualities required of teachers in consideration of today's trends in education, their duties and obligations. In this lecture, group work and mock classes will be conducted to encourage students to continue to question the nature of the teaching profession.

本講義は、教職に関する、一定の社会的・制度的・歴史的・法的知識を身につけ、またそれに対する主体的認識を養うことを目的とする。教職に関する専門的な理解を深めつつ、自らの適性を判断して、進路選択に資する教職のあり方について理解することを目指す。

教職および学校教育の社会的意義とともに、今日の教育の動向を踏まえて、教員に求められ役割や資質、職務内容や職務上の義務についても理解する。適宜グループワークや模擬授業などを行いながら、教職のあり方を問い続ける姿勢を作りたい。
