【Course Objectives】

The purpose of this lecture is, first, to provide students with social, institutional, historical, and legal knowledge related to the teaching profession. Secondly, this course is designed to help each student develop a subjective awareness of the teaching profession. This lecture aims to help students deepen their professional understanding of the teaching profession, determine their own aptitude, and understand how the teaching profession can help them choose their own career path.

【Course Contents】

This lecture will prepare the participants to understand the social meanings of the teaching profession and school education, as well as the roles and qualities required of teachers in consideration of today's trends in education, their duties and obligations. In this lecture, group work and mock classes will be conducted to encourage students to continue to question the nature of the teaching profession.
