Students will learn how to read staff notation, and understand musical intervals, major and minor scales, and chords. Students will perform small piano pieces and sing and accompany pieces from the elementary school course materials corresponding to their own abilities.
Music theory and singing will be taught in a class setting. Piano lessons will be taught individually outside of class hours. Students will start learning this knowledge and these skills from the basic level, mainly focusing on pieces from elementary school course materials. Students will develop proficiency in music theory and techniques needed for elementary school classes.

五線譜の読み方に習熟し、音程、音階、主要三和音まで理解する。各自の技能に応じたピアノ曲を練習し、共通教材を中心とした小学校教材曲の歌唱と伴奏を行う。

理論と歌唱活動は一斉指導、ピアノは授業時間外に個別指導を行う。いずれも小学校の教材曲を中心に基礎的な知識・技能から始めて、小学校での指導実践に生かすための音楽理論と実技を身につけられるよう指導する。
