(1) Students will be able to think about what it means that learners' language activities become more active in the classroom.
(2) Students will be able to think about the problems that exist between humans using language or teaching language.
(3) Students will be able to reconsider the teaching materials in the Japanese language class based on the philosophy and ideas learned in the class.
In this class, teachers provide the required knowledge to Japanese language teachers, and students acquire the knowledge while utilizing it in group work. In class, we use not only elementary school materials but also junior high and high school materials for comparison, and sometimes use pop culture such as movies. Students who do not aim to obtain a teacher's license can also participate.

（1）教室で学習者の言語活動が活発になるということはどういうことかを考える。
（2）人間が言葉を使い、言葉を教えることのあいだに存在する問題を考える。
（3）国語科の教材を、授業で学んだ哲学や思想を踏まえて捉え直せるようになる。

この授業では、言葉の学びに携わる者に必要とされる知識を提供し、受講者はその知識をグループワークなどで活用しながら習得していく。小学校教材のみならず、比較のために中学、高校の教材も使用し、さらには、映画などのポップカルチャーを使用することもある。必ずしも教員免許状取得を目的としていなくとも、「言葉」を再考したい方には益のある授業内容である。

（1）次回扱う資料などを事前に配布し、読了しておくよう求めることがある。
（2）ワークショップや学生自身による創作活動が多い授業であることを了解の上受講すること。
（3）言語パフォーマンス発表会は、国語科教材を劇化して発表したり、言語事項に関するリサーチの成果を演劇的に発表するものである。授業初回でグループ分けを行い、以降のグループワークから発表会まで行動を共にする。発表会の準備は授業時間外にグループで集まる必要も出てくるので、了解の上受講すること。
