Students can understand the history of the establishment of life sciences and their principles.They can deepen the understanding of children according to the characteristics of life sciences and the development of lower grade children.
Students learn about the educational philosophy and principles of life studies. And then they learn about the composition of goals, contents, methods, etc. of the course of study. Then, regarding the subject content of the life studies, consider the method of understanding children, the concept of learning, and the method of proceeding with classes.

生活科の成立史、またその理念や原理について理解するとともに、それらを踏まえた生活科の特質や低学年児童の発達に応じた子ども理解を深め、生活科の教科内容を理解することができるようにする。
Students can understand the history of the establishment of life sciences and their principles.They can deepen the understanding of children according to the characteristics of life sciences and the development of lower grade children.
生活科の教育理念や原理について学習したうえで、学習指導要領の目標・内容・方法等の構成について学ぶ。そして、生活科の教科内容について、児童理解の方法及び学習の構想や授業の進め方等を考える。
