The course will view how "religion" is treated in internal and external education, and will consider issues concerning religious education in the future.
With the exception of some religious-affiliated schools, there is almost no opportunity in Japan's education to take up the topic of religion. However, knowledge and information concerning religion is important in life. After understanding the history and the current status of how religion is handled in internal and external education, the course will consider the problems and issues involved.

内外の教育における「宗教」の扱われ方を把握し，今後の宗教教育に関する課題を考察する。
The course will view how "religion" is treated in internal and external education, and will consider issues concerning religious education in the future.
日本の教育現場において「宗教」が取り上げられる機会は一部の宗教系学校以外においてはまずない。だが，「宗教」に関する知識や情報は生活において重要なものであろう。内外の教育における「宗教」の扱われ方の歴史・現状を把握したうえで，それにともなう問題や課題について考察していく。
