Following pre-departure instruction (at Rikkyo University), students will spend about 3 weeks during summer vacation on-site (at Hertford College, University of Oxford), cultivating basic capabilities such as language expression, cross cultural adaption, and field investigation. After returning to Japan, students will present their findings in English during follow-up instruction.
After receiving prior instruction (research preparation instruction, English language learning instruction, and explanation of travel procedures), participants will receive on-site training on their own research themes and will create final reports. On-site training will take place at Hertford College, University of Oxford, which is operated by the British English-language education institute Advanced English and British Culture Programme. As capacity is limited to 30 people (with 12 people as the minimum for holding the program), it may not be possible to accommodate all students.

事前指導の後，夏休みの約3週間，言語表現・異文化対応・現地調査などの基本能力を現地で涵養する。帰国後，その成果を事後指導の際に英語で発表する。

参加者は事前指導（研究準備指導，英語学習指導，渡航手続の説明）を受けた後，各自の研究テーマをもって現地研修を受け，最終レポートを作成。現地研修は，イギリスの英語教育機関 'Advanced English and British Culture Programme' により運営され、オックスフォード大学ハートフォード・カレッジで実施される。但し定員が30名（最少催行人数は12名）なので，希望に沿えない場合がある。
