Students learn how to study policy analysis while gaining an understanding of the basic perspectives and current issues. This course gives you an overview of the course structure of the Department of Economic Policy Studies so that you can register for courses that align with your research theme.
This is the introductory course for the Department of Economic Policy Studies. The instructors who supervise the courses related to economic policy are experts in their respective policy fields and briefly introduce the contents of the main lectures. The systematized knowledge of economic policy and methods for applying economics to policy analysis are introduced in this course to reveal the current issues that Japan and the world are confronted with.

政策分析の学び方にふれつつ，基本的な視点と現在の課題を把握する。経済政策学科における科目構成の全体像をつかみ，各自の研究テーマに沿う科目履修に役立てる。

本科目は，経済政策学科の導入科目である。経済政策関連科目を担当する専任教員が，それぞれの専門とする政策分野について，主要講義科目で学ぶべき内容を概説する。これにより，経済政策の体系や， 経済学を応用した政策分析の方法を紹介し，世界と日本が直面する現在の政策課題を明らかにする。
