Students will learn the theoretical fundamentals for analyzing capitalism to acquire the ability to historically and theoretically examine the economic phenomena necessary to achieve the learning required for the degree.
This lecture explains in an easy-to-understand manner the origins of capitalism and its structure. There are various concepts regarding economics. In this lecture students consider what capitalism is from the perspective of Marxian economics. During the fall semester, in this lecture capitalism is analyzed from an overall social perspective so that the subject of what is capitalistic reproduction, the profit rate trends, formation of the banking and credit system, and the central bank financial policies, etc., can be discussed looking at the relationships among a near realistic capitalism framework, reproduction, and the credit system. Capitalism has brought the development of a huge production capacity, but it has also caused periodic economic panics. These aspects of capitalism are considered in conjunction with modern economic problems. Reality is complex. It is important to acquire the tools (theory) to analyze that reality and then use those tools to consider the reality. This lecture gives students a way to do that.

Students will learn the theoretical fundamentals for analyzing capitalism to acquire the ability to historically and theoretically examine the economic phenomena necessary to achieve the learning required for the degree.
この講義は、資本主義の成り立ちやその構造をわかりやすく説明します。経済学にはいろいろな考え方があります。この講義は、マルクス経済学の立場から資本主義とは何かについて接近します。秋学期では、資本主義を社会全体の視点から分析し、資本の再生産とは何か、利潤率の動向、銀行・信用制度の形成、そして中央銀行の金融政策などより現実に近い資本主義の仕組みや再生産と信用制度との関係を講義します。資本主義は巨大な生産力の発展をもたらしましたが、他方では周期的に恐慌をひきおこしてきました。こうした資本主義の様相を現代の経済問題と絡めながら考察していきます。現実は複雑です。その現実を分析する道具（理論）を身につけ、その道具を使って現実を考えることが重要なのです。この講義はそのための考える手立てを与えます。
