The objective of this course is to understand the significance of viewing modern economic society from a macroeconomic perspective and to understand how income and employment are determined based on Keynesian macroeconomic theory.
In Macroeconomics 1, students learn the basics of Keynesian macroeconomic theory. Students learn the meaning and content of macroeconomic indicators such as GDP, and understand systematically how the GDP are determined, why unemployment occurs, and what is the effects of fiscal and monetary policy.

現代社会を取り巻くさまざまな経済問題とかかわらせながら、マクロ経済学の基礎を学ぶ。経済をマクロの視点で見ることの意義を理解し、ケインズ的なマクロ経済学の理論に基づいて、所得や雇用がどのように決まるのかを理解できるようになることを目標とする。

マクロ経済学1では、ケインズ的なマクロ経済学理論の基礎を学ぶ。マクロ経済指標の意味と内容を理解するとともに、GDPなどがどのように決まるのか、失業はなぜ生じるのか、金融・財政政策の理論的基礎はどのようなものなのかなどといった問題を体系的に扱う。
In Macroeconomics 1, students learn the basics of Keynesian macroeconomic theory. Students learn the meaning and content of macroeconomic indicators such as GDP, and understand systematically how the GDP are determined, why unemployment occurs, and what is the effects of fiscal and monetary policy.

マクロ経済学は理論を扱うため、知識の積み重ねが重要である。毎回の講義の内容を十分な時間をかけて復習し理解していなければ、次回以降の講義が理解できなくなる。予習は、テキストの該当箇所を何度も読んでおくこと。 その他の参考文献は、ガイダンスや講義中に指示する。
