To gain an understanding of the development process of modern Asian economies including Japan for the purpose of grasping the diversity in the Asian economy and the history of its relationship with Europe and America.
This lecture mainly covers the modern Asian economy developmental process from the 1930’s to the 1970’s. The economic relationship between Asia and Europe and America is discussed while considering the positioning of Japan in the development of the Asian economy. This course is positioned as the second part of “Asian Economic History 1.”

日本を含む近代アジア経済の展開過程について理解し、アジア経済の多様性や、ヨーロッパおよびアメリカとの関係史を把握することを目標とする。
To gain an understanding of the development process of modern Asian economies including Japan for the purpose of grasping the diversity in the Asian economy and the history of its relationship with Europe and America.
近代アジア経済の展開過程について、1930年代から1970年代までを中心に講義する。アジアとヨーロッパおよびアメリカとの経済関係を捉えつつ、アジア経済の展開における日本の位置づけを図っていく。なお、本授業は「アジア経済史１」の後編に位置づけられる。
