Understanding the current state of the Japanese economy and the issues it has been facing recently. Specifically, discussion will focus on the macroeconomic trends and business investment, which is the driving force of economic growth, and the objective is to be able to read the characteristics of the related financial and labor markets and to understand and explain their relationship to the global economy.
Bring up the issues of the Japanese economy that are often reported by the mass media, explain the economic management framework and the behavior of economic entities, and understand the overall picture of the Japanese economy. Once during the class a person actually involved with this will be invited to come and explain it directly. In addition, the students will be given time to present reports they have created and an opportunity will be provided for them to discuss specific issues.

日本経済の現況と今現在直面している課題を理解すること。具体的にはマクロ経済の動向と共に、経済成長の主軸である企業投資に重点を置きながら、それに関連する金融市場や労働市場の特徴を読み取り、これらが持つグローバル経済との関連性を理解して説明できることである。

マスコミによってよく膾炙される日本経済の課題を取上げ、経済運営の仕組みと経済主体の行動様式を説明し、日本経済の全体像を理解する。授業中1回は実務に関わっている方を招き、直接説明をしてもらう。また、時間を取って受講者が作成したレポートをプレゼンしたり、特定の論点について議論したりする機会を設ける。
