【Course Objectives】

Students will study the theory, history, and actual conditions of industry in order to become human resources who can "discover, analyze, and solve real-world problems," as stated in the degree awarding policy of the Faculty of Economics.
Actual companies and industrial systems are diverse and complex. In addition, companies and industrial systems differ among countries and they often differ within the same country depending on the time. In Industrial Economics 2, the competitiveness of Japanese firms in various industries will be explained.

【Course Contents】

In what industries are Japanese firms highly competitive? Why are Japanese firms highly competitive in those industries? Or, in which industries do Japanese firms not have a competitive advantage? How are firms that are highly competitive in those industries managed? In Industrial Economics 2, I will explain the reality of the competitiveness of Japanese firms based on these questions.
